OPEN BYPASS

Lab Crafters Open Bypass Fume Hoods are a wise choice for controlled air flow patterns within the fume hood for constant volume exhaust conditions. The bypass slots are an alternate route for air to enter the hood as the sash is closed. The bottom airfoil guides air into the hood along the work surface. This feature allows a more uniform internal velocity to be maintained within the hood and provides a continuous air stream to sweep fumes from the countertop work space.

The open bypass fume hoods also offer a full compliment of service fixtures and controls. These units can be supplied with various types of sinks, electrical outlets, air flow monitors, interior linings and other options available upon request.

AIR SENTRY

The Air Sentry Fume Hoods can successfully reduce the required air flow within any laboratory by half the amount required by conventional fume hoods. These hoods are ideal for climate controlled labs. The low volume constant exhaust reduces air losses from the lab, while controlling air flow patterns inside the hood. Your experiments remain controlled as is the air within the lab.

The Air Sentry Series fume hoods feature the VFV Control System, which automates the back baffle to adjust for external influences which may affect hood performance.
